The 1901-АР mintmaster varieties of just about any Russian coins are somewhat rare. Believe it or not, this was one of the first 10 rouble coins I ever owned! I picked it up on eBay early in 2005; at the time, neither I nor the seller was aware of the special nature of this coin. Therefore, I was able to get it for quite a reasonable price.
